POINT BREAKSUNGLASSES
POINT BREAK LENS TECHNOLOGY

Know Your Lenses.

Not all sunglasses are created equal. Lens materials, coatings and optical technology can make a major difference in clarity, comfort, durability and protection.

Polarized Lenses

Designed to reduce reflected glare from surfaces such as water, pavement, sand and snow.

UV400 Protection

UV400 lenses are designed to block ultraviolet light through wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, covering UVA and UVB radiation.

Anti-Scratch Hard Coating

A durable hard coating can improve resistance to everyday scratches and abrasions. Scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof.

Hydrophobic Coating

Hydrophobic coatings help repel water and allow droplets to bead and roll away from the lens.

Oleophobic Coating

Oleophobic coatings help resist oils, fingerprints and smudges for easier cleaning.

Anti-Reflective Coating

Anti-reflective technology can reduce distracting reflections, including light reflected toward your eyes from behind you.

Lens Material Matters

Polycarbonate lenses are lightweight and highly impact resistant. Other premium materials offer different combinations of clarity, weight and durability.

Premium Optics

Lens quality can affect clarity, color, contrast, comfort and overall visual performance.

The Point Break Standard

We’re building Point Break Sunglasses around the things that matter: protection, clarity, durability, comfort and performance. As each Point Break collection is introduced, we’ll clearly identify the lens technologies and features included so you know exactly what you’re getting.
